Every year, SICOT offers 1 surgeon a three-month fellowship to the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Lagos (Nigeria). This hospital’s subspecialties are Arthroplasty/Orthopaedics, Oncology and Paediatrics. The Fellowship will take place between January and November of each year.

Four annual fellowships for a 3 to 6 months' training programme in the Assiut University Teaching Hospital are available for young English-speaking surgeons from Africa. The purpose of the fellowship is to receive training and experience. Permanent training programmes start in March and September.
